Table of contents How we picked these eight
"Beach club" means something specific in Pattaya, and it isn't the row of plastic chairs and ฿100 deck umbrellas on Beach Road. The real beach clubs - pool, DJ, day beds, a kitchen and a bar with a proper sea view - cluster on Pratumnak Hill and along Jomtien, away from the main city strip. That's where I've spent more sweaty research afternoons than I'll admit, and it's where the eight clubs below live.
This is a working list of the best beach clubs in Pattaya for 2026, ranked by how good a day they actually deliver - not by who shouts loudest on Instagram. I've put real entry and minimum-spend numbers next to each, flagged who each one suits, and been honest about the catches. If you want bars with a view instead of a pool, see our Walking Street guide or the sibling rooftop bars in Pattaya list.
How we picked these eight
I visited each as a normal paying guest - no comped beds, no press invites - on at least one weekday and one weekend so the prices and crowds reflect what you'll actually meet. The ranking weighs five things: the quality of the swim (real sand or a good pool), value (entry versus minimum spend), the vibe at the time of day each does best, food and drink quality, and how easy it is to reach without a car.
Pattaya's beach-club scene changes faster than almost anything else in town - venues rebrand, close for a wet-season refit, or flip from family-friendly by day to a 21+ party by night. Everything here was checked at street level in early 2026, and I've noted where a place runs seasonal hours.
No pay-to-play
Nobody pays to appear on this list. Every entry fee, minimum spend and day-bed price below was paid in person in 2026 - the same standard we hold across every trip-planning guide. If a club drops off next season, it's because the day got worse, not because of money.

1. Cave Beach Club - best all-rounder
If you do one beach club in Pattaya, make it Cave Beach Club on the south side of Pratumnak Hill. It has the rare combination that makes a beach club worth the trip: a genuine stretch of soft sand, a pool set into the rocks with an open sea view, and a kitchen and bar that don't feel like an afterthought. There's no hard entry fee - you just spend on food and drink, and a day bed runs from about ฿1,000–1,500 on weekends.
It does daytime lazy and sunset party equally well. From late morning it's loungers, smoothies and a swim; from around 4pm the DJ warms up and the crowd shifts younger and louder. Cocktails are ฿280–380, a wood-fired pizza or burger ฿300–450. The catch: weekends fill up, so arrive before noon or reserve a bed. It's roughly a ฿80–120 Grab from Central Pattaya.
2. The Glass House - best for families
On the quieter Jomtien end, The Glass House is the one I send families and anyone who wants a calm pool day over a party. The pool is generous and shallow at one end, there's real shade, and the all-day kitchen does food kids will actually eat. The vibe stays mellow even at sunset, so it's a relief if loud DJs aren't your thing.
Expect a minimum spend of about ฿300–500 per person rather than a ticket, which a lunch and a couple of drinks clears easily. Sun loungers are usually free with that spend; a cabana is ฿800–1,200. It's a short ฿60–100 ride from Jomtien Beach Road and pairs well with a morning at the beach itself - see our best beaches near Go To Pattaya.
3. Lima Beach Club - best party
Lima Beach Club, also on Pratumnak, is where the beach-club scene goes loudest. Weekend afternoons here are a full party - resident and guest DJs, a packed pool, bottle service and a crowd dressed to be seen. If you want the high-energy, sunset-into-night beach-club experience that fills travel reels, this is the one.
It's the priciest of the regular clubs: a minimum spend around ฿500–800, day beds ฿1,500–2,500 at weekends, and a table with bottle service well into the thousands. Cocktails are ฿300–400. Weekday afternoons are far calmer and cheaper if you want the setting without the crush. Note it skews 20s–30s and turns properly adult after dark.
Local tip
"Minimum spend" is your friend, not a trap. At most Pattaya beach clubs there's no ticket - you commit to spending a set amount on food and drink, and you'd spend that on lunch and two drinks anyway. The real money pit is the day bed and bottle service. If you just want a lounger, a swim and a cocktail, you can have a great day for ฿400–600 a head.
4–8. The rest of the best
Five more that round out a proper beach-club week, each with a clear reason to go.
Jomtien. A garden-resort beach club for couples who want calm - shaded loungers, a clean pool, no thumping DJ. Free with food and drink; mains ฿250–450.
South Pattaya near the pier. Less pool, more view and cocktails as the sun drops over Koh Larn. Min spend ฿400–700; arrive by 5pm for the light.
Jomtien. A loungers-plus-jet-ski set-up - pair a beach bed with paddleboards or banana boats. Free with F&B; activities priced separately.
Naklua's Wong Amat beach. Hotel beach lounges and casual bars on the cleanest sand in town. Low-key, free with a drink, great for a slow day.
A 45-min ferry away. Tawaen and Samae beaches have the clearest water near Pattaya. Day beds ฿200–400, but it's a full day-trip, not a quick stop.
A note on what to avoid: anything on the main Beach Road strip billing itself as a "beach club" is usually just chairs and umbrellas on busy public sand - fine for an hour, not a day. And skip the loudest party clubs on a weekday if you've brought kids; the family-friendly daytime window mostly closes by mid-afternoon.
What a beach club day actually costs
The number that surprises people is how little a good day costs if you skip the day bed. Here's the realistic 2026 spend per person, in baht. The min-spend almost always counts toward your food and drinks, so you're rarely paying "extra" to be there.
Most clubs have no ticket; you spend ฿300–800 on F&B instead. Lima and party clubs sit at the top.
Beers ฿120–180. A mocktail or smoothie ฿120–200. Cheaper than a rooftop, dearer than a street bar.
Pizza, burgers, Thai mains and sharing plates. Quality is decent; you're not paying only for the view.
Weekend, optional. A free lounger plus min spend gets you the same sun for far less.
So a relaxed couple swimming, having lunch and two drinks each lands around ฿1,200–1,800 for two at most clubs - genuinely good value for a full day by a pool with sea air. Add a day bed and the party crowd and it climbs fast. For how that fits a wider budget, our 7-day Pattaya budget guide puts it in context.

How to plan your beach club day
Timing is everything. Arrive before noon for the pick of free loungers, calmer water and daytime prices; the crowd, the music volume and the bills all rise toward sunset. If you want the party, target 4–7pm on a weekend; if you want peace, go on a weekday morning.
Book a day bed ahead only at weekends or for big groups - midweek you can usually walk in. Bring cash and a card (most take both, but ATMs are a Grab away), reef-friendly sunscreen, and a cover-up if you're moving on into the evening.
