About World Kumite Organization (WKO)
The World Kumite Organization (WKO) is a Japanese-rooted international martial-arts body that has run a centre in Pattaya since 2007. It occupies a dedicated five-storey building in Nong Prue, with a gym floor, dedicated dojos, a ring and even an on-site juice bar, bringing several disciplines together under one roof.
The timetable spans Kyokushin karate, kung fu and Muay Thai / boxing, so members can mix traditional and combat styles or focus on one art. The coaching pedigree is unusually deep for a Pattaya gym — the team includes Robert McInnes, the first Western referee at Lumpinee Stadium (1993), Sakmongkol Sithchuchok, a five-time WMC Muay Thai world champion, and Yodsanan Sithyodtong, a WBA world boxing champion.
With a 4.4 rating, WKO suits everyone from curious beginners to serious students who want to learn from genuine champions. Alongside regular membership it runs special seminars for those seeking focused, higher-level instruction.
