Wat Chong Lom, also known as Wat Suthiwat Wararam, is a peaceful Buddhist temple in the Na Kluea area on the northern edge of Pattaya. Unlike the city's headline attractions, it is a working local temple, so the mood is calm and unhurried and you are far more likely to see residents than tour groups.
The temple has the classic features of traditional Thai Buddhist architecture, with decorated rooflines, Buddha images and shrines set within quiet, green grounds. It is a good place to slow down, observe everyday temple life and take a few respectful photos.
Entry is free and there is no ticket. As at any active temple, visitors should dress modestly, remove their shoes before entering shrine buildings and keep noise to a minimum near anyone at prayer.
