About Living Green Elephant Sanctuary
Living Green Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical, conservation-led home for rescued elephants set in the green hills of Chonburi, about 40–45 minutes from central Pattaya. Founded in 2016 with roots in Chiang Mai, it is built on a simple principle: no riding, no hooks and no shows. Guests meet the elephants on the animals’ own terms.
A half-day visit follows a relaxed rhythm — you hand-feed the elephants, walk alongside them through the grounds and finish by bathing them in the river. You’ll be given a traditional Mo Hom outfit to wear, and a Pad Thai lunch is included in the price.
With small groups capped at 20 guests and a calm, respectful approach to the animals, it suits families and travellers who care about animal welfare and want a hands-on day in nature rather than a staged attraction.
