About Columbia Pictures Aquaverse
Columbia Pictures Aquaverse sits on Jomtien Beach and bills itself as the world's first water park themed entirely around Columbia Pictures films. Slides and attractions draw on Jumanji, Ghostbusters and Hotel Transylvania, alongside a Surf's Up surf zone, go-karts, mini golf, foam parties and live shows.
The park first opened in 2014 as Cartoon Network Amazone — Asia's original cartoon-themed water park. In 2022 it rebranded under a Sony / Columbia Pictures licence, reworking the theming around the studio's film franchises while keeping the same large Jomtien site.
It currently rates 4.1 across 54 reviews and ranks as the #1 attraction at Jomtien Beach. Day tickets are priced by age, with lockers, cabanas and some activities as paid extras.
