About Anek Kusala Sala (Viharn Sien)

Anek Kusala Sala, better known as Viharn Sien, is a Chinese-style museum-temple built beside the Wat Yansangwararam complex, about 15 kilometres south of Pattaya. It was created as a gesture of Thai–Chinese friendship and houses one of the region's richest collections of Chinese art.

Across several floors you will find rows of life-size terracotta warrior replicas, bronze statues of historical and mythological figures, intricately carved jade pieces and rotating cultural displays. The building itself, in the style of a Chinese royal temple, is as much a part of the visit as the exhibits.

Entry is by ticket and the interior galleries are air-conditioned, making it a comfortable, unhurried cultural stop that pairs well with the neighbouring Wat Yan complex. Allow one to two hours to see the collection at a relaxed pace.
